Techniques and Technology

Lamination

Lamination protects paper from normal wearing, making it particularly resistant and with a strong visual impact; it gives materiality and definition to the supports on which it is applied.

Lamination with glossy or opaque films is a technology that gives a visually strong appearance to printed surfaces.

Italreflexes has been able to make this technique even more interesting and durable over the years; before passing to the rolling process, the support is printed serigraphically with a drawing on which the lamina will then be applied.

Subsequently the support will be completely plated internally with a resin to make it waterproof and impact resistant. Finally, it will be placed in an oven where the design will acquire thickness and definition with a final visual effect of considerable impact.
